About Steph

Hello! Steph here, founder of Ritual of Sol. I'm a yoga teacher, Reiki, and sound practitioner in Naarm (Melbourne), Aus.

My work is grounded in both lived experience and formal education.

I spent many years at university training to become a psychologist, completing a Bachelor of Criminology and Psychology, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science (Psychology Honours). Partway through a Master of Clinical Psychology, I felt a clear call to chart a different path - one that felt more aligned with how I wanted to support others.

My journey into yoga began just over 6 years ago, initially as a tool to help manage chronic pain. What started as a means of survival transformed into a profound way of living and relating to myself. Experiencing its life-altering impact, I felt a deep pull to share this practice with others. I completed my 200-hour teacher training with (Here) Yoga, and have since continued to expand my learning through additional trainings.

Reiki entered my life more recently, guided by a series of intuitive nudges from Spirit. I’ve felt a strong connection to Spirit since childhood, and this relationship continues to weave through all that I offer. I am trained in Usui Reiki, having completed Levels 1 and 2 with Melbourne Reiki and Wellness.

After falling in love with the resonance and depth of singing bowls, I went on to complete Levels 1 and 2 in Sound Bath facilitation with Rainbow Sounds.

A deep commitment to social justice underpins my work, particularly in the space of gender-based violence. As part of this, a portion of Ritual of Sol profits is donated to organisations creating meaningful change.
